Successful candidates receive a Diploma in Project Management (QCF level 4 – equivalent to HND) after 2 years of part time study and work based learning.  With 600 hours of contact time and all modules supported by on the job practical assignments supported by mentoring and coaching, candidates coming through this scheme will be the most knowledgeable and practical project management resources in your organisation.

Apprenticeships are a great alternative to A levels and university, and many apprentices go on to part time degrees.

What is my investment?

As for any apprenticeship scheme, the employer pays the candidate a salary depending on age and experience – we can advise on typical levels.

Grants of up to £1,500 are also available to small and medium sized companies who take on apprentices.

The Apprenticeship scheme lasts for two years, during which the candidate is expected to be away for face to face training for two days per month supported by workplace learning.

The cost of the training is subsidised by the government, depending on age of the Apprentice, leaving you to pay £350 per month training costs directly to the college.
